What Ori Is
Ancestral spiritual knowledge is sophisticated, transmittable and worth paying to receive from a qualified teacher rooted in a named tradition. The tradition is always named. Gullah Geechee rootwork is not called folk healing. Haitian Vodou is not called spiritual practice.
The wellness industry has sold Black spiritual practice for decades without paying Black practitioners. Ori is the correction.
Every other work in the house speaks in the brand's voice. Ori brings practitioners in to teach in their own. A practitioner teaching from inside their own tradition is not edited to pass a house style rule. The house voice governs the framing, the course descriptions and the sequencing, and it stops at the practitioner's own words.
