Every work in the house runs on one framework. A year of daily prayer and micro-ritual, organized by season, aligned to the seven centers of the body, which this house calls by their Yoruba names. What changes between the offerings is not the practice. It is the voice, and who is speaking.
One speaks over a life from outside it. One speaks from inside his own. One speaks from inside her own. And one has not yet been told anything smaller.
The one who covers
Mothers, grandmothers, aunties, godmothers, fathers, elders and teachers. You already know how to do this. Something in your hands remembers. This is prayer spoken over someone you love, and it also tends you while you offer it.

Guardianship is love with its sleeves rolled up and its hands open. These carry the covering outward, and then turn it back toward the one doing the covering.

A book of one hundred fifty-six nights in water, three a week for a year, with the same ten movements every night and different words every time. It is written for a Black woman in her own bathroom at nine at night, with a tub or with a stall, and the water confers nothing beyond being the place quiet enough that she can say aloud what is already true.

A sixty-day journal-guide for women returning to themselves through illness, treatment and the long weathering that wears a body down. Five gates each morning: what you eat, breath and covering, letting someone in, movement and rest, then a small deliberate delight to close on. It meets you on tender days and strong ones alike.

A year-long daily restoration practice for the women who spend their lives covering others. Breathwork, sacred movement, spoken declaration and alignment across the seven centers in a steady daily rhythm over thirteen lunar cycles, rooted in Kemetic and Yoruba lineages of breath and rising energy.
Reverence is complete already. Joy has not been attempted. These run bright all the way through, and a child speaks in them rather than being spoken over.
